a 'Briefing Session for Korean Financial Institutions and Legal Firms on opportunities in India’s Capital Market' on 8 September 2025. 

The event was addressed by Mr Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO, National Stock Exchange (NSE). Deputy Chief of Mission Mr Nishi Kant Singh welcomed him at the Embassy

Mr Chauhan gave a detailed presentation on Indian capital market highlighting ongoing structural reforms in Indian economy, including simplification of GST regime; growing digitization in Indian capital markets with over 120 million unique investors, processing of 20 billion + peak order messages in a day. Korean participants actively engaged with him over the Q&A session.

Mr Chauhan also met Mr Yoo Seok Seo, Chairman, Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA). Discussions held on growing opportunities for Korean financial entities in the Indian Capital Market
