a 'Briefing Session for Korean Financial Institutions and Legal Firms on opportunities in India’s Capital Market' on 8 September 2025.

The event was addressed by Mr Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO, National Stock Exchange (NSE). Deputy Chief of Mission Mr Nishi Kant Singh welcomed him at the Embassy

Mr Chauhan gave a detailed presentation on Indian capital market highlighting ongoing structural reforms in Indian economy, including simplification of GST regime; growing digitization in Indian capital markets with over 120 million unique investors, processing of 20 billion + peak order messages in a day. Korean participants actively engaged with him over the Q&A session.

Mr Chauhan also met Mr Yoo Seok Seo, Chairman, Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA). Discussions held on growing opportunities for Korean financial entities in the Indian Capital Market

주한인도대사관은 2025년 9월 8일 “인도 자본 시장의 기회에 대한 한국 금융 기관 및 법률 회사 대상 브리핑 세션”을 개최했습니다.

이 행사에서는 아시시쿠마르 차우한(Ashishkumar Chauhan) 인도 국립증권거래소 대표이사 겸 CEO가 연설했으며, 니시 칸트 싱(Nishi Kant Singh) 차석대사가 대사관에서 그를 환영했습니다.

차우한 대표이사는 인도 경제의 구조적 개혁을 포함한 인도 자본 시장에 대해 상세히 설명하면서, 특히 GST 체계의 간소화, 1억 2천만 명 이상의 고유 투자자를 보유한 인도 자본 시장의 디지털화, 하루 200억 건 이상의 최대 주문 메시지 처리 등을 강조했습니다. .

한국 참가자들은 질의응답 시간에 활발히 참여하며 깊은 관심을 나타냈습니다. 또한, 차우한 대표이사는 서유석 한국금융투자협회(KOFIA) 회장과 만나 한국 금융 기관들이 인도 자본 시장에서 성장할 수 있는 기회에 대해 논의했습니다.
