Celebration of 71st Republic Day of India

Embassy of India celebrated the 71st Republic Day with fervour by hosting a reception at the Kim Dae Jung Covention Center, Gwangju on January 31, 2020. More than 200 guests including senior dignitaries from the Government of Republic of Korea and Gwangju Metropolitan council, Senior Executives from Korean Businesses, Academia,Diplomatic Corps and Indian students from Gwangju participated. H.E. Mr Chang Jae-bok, Ambassador for Public Diplomacy, Mr. Lee yong-seop, Mayor Gwangju Metropolitan city and H.E. Kim Yung Rok, Governor Jeollanamdo Province graced this occasion by their presence. A cultural show on the theme classical music of India followed which enthralled the guest.

주한인도대사관은 2020년 1월 31일, 김대중컨벤션센터에서 제71주년 인도공화국의 날 기념 행사를 개최했습니다. 한국 정부, 광주광역시, 학계, 외교단 및 한국 기업의 고위 인사들, 광주의 인도인 학생 등 200여 명이 넘는 인원이 참석하였습니다. 이용섭 광주시장, 김영록 전남지사, 장재복 외교부 공공외교대사가 참석하여 자리를 빛냈습니다.
또한 산투르, 파카와즈, 타블라 연주가들이 펼친 인도 음악 공연이 관중들을 매료시켰습니다.
